Date Latest Update
25/01/09 Following several months of gradual work, the FRADU Canberras have broken away from the Hunters to form its own site!

All twenty one Electric Canberra aeroplanes that saw service with the Fleet Requirements and Air Direction Unit, since its formation on 1st December 1972 at RNAS Yeovilton are now featured.
Each individual airframe has its own page containing a service history, and where possible a slideshow of images showing it at various stages of its life with the FRADU and how it looks today (if applicable).
This set-up mirrors the format which was introduced into the FRADU Hunters web-site earlier this year, and allows easy updates.

Unfortunately, I have as yet been unable to locate images of one Canberra, TT.18 WJ629/845, so if anyone can assist please get in touch via the contact page linked above.
I would obviously be delighted to receive images of the other ex-Navy Canberras (as well as the Hunters!) as well!

Please have a look around, and if there are any inaccuracies present anywhere please get in touch, and I will amend them as soon as I can.

I pass on my sincere thanks to the many individuals (whom have all been recognised in the list of acknowledgements) that have contacted me with material and helped with the redevelopment of the site!
